Founded in 1977, Chicago Family Health Center is the healthcare home of thousands of low-income Chicagoans. The nonprofit, nonsectarian organization is dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate care, community partnerships and innovation.

This clinic offers free health care to uninsured adults who do not qualify for Medicaid or Medicare. The clinic provides medical, dental and pharmacy services.

Free health clinics in Chicago are an important part of the Illinois network of community-based organizations that provide medical and dental care to adults who cannot afford to pay for their health needs, including preventive care such as immunizations. The clinics serve Chicago and suburban Cook County and the collar counties, as well as rural areas.

Our six student-run Community Free Clinics offer care to people without insurance. The clinics are staffed by students in Pritzker’s professional healthcare programs, and are located throughout the metropolitan area. The clinics are a vital resource for underserved populations, including the homeless, the working poor and those needing immigration exams and refugee services.
